There's something magical about songwriting. No matter how many songs I write or how much I know about songwriting, I am still amazed and a little awestruct that it happens at all. How does a song get started? How do you know where to go next? How do you know if your song is any good? Well, A song that expresses what you fell is a good song, even if no one else thinks so. A song that expresses your thoughts and feelings in a way that reaches other people, helps them f eel something deeper or understanding something better.
How does a song get started?
This is the most difficult part in songwritting, and its also one of the most important because if you start well, you'll have a lot less trouble down the line. This is the part where you dictates where it wants to go.
Hi Jean, I am kind of confused as to which of these blog entries are submissions for the assignments. None of the recent entries look like a response to the requirement on process writing. Please go back to your entries and put tags or labels on each of them. Identify whether they are journal entries ("journal"), assignments (put the name of the assignment, eg "description"). But always tag everything related to the subject with "englishone" or "englone". Thanks
ReplyDeleteDude use examples like i said earlier in order to make your post sound descriptive or make a point. Or use a narrative side in order to compensate for the expressive feeling you describe about your writing. Also make sure you know the topic at hand and what you are talking about cuz I still don't know how to write songs!
ReplyDeleteok Ms. :) I will. sorry for the confusion :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip, Ian :)
